Description
Outstanding plate of clear gemmy Chalcedony liberally coated with beautiful bright gemmy Apophyllites. The stepped balls of Chalcedony, which have the appearance of giant drusy quartz balls (really, how cool is that!) range up to 2 cm across. They have a gorgeous silky translucent luster and a grey tint due solely to the plate of matrix below. The Apophyllites, many of which are doubly-terminated and a few with some cleaves, reach up to 2 cm in length.
