Fluorite on Sphalerite
A plate of intergrown, splendent, black, sphalerite is the matrix for an equant, translucent, doubly-terminated fluorite crystal measuring 4.2 cm across. A front edge has minor chipping about 1 cm long and there is a tiny contact on the back side, hence the low price.
