Spessartine
Marienfluss spessartines used to set the standard, and were considered at one time the world's best spessartines for collectors, for sharpness, color, and gemminess. Today they are still desirable, just so rare most people have never seen one. This sharp crystal exceeds 1 cm and is very nicely colored a classic ultra-orange hue. It is, unusually, on matrix of quartz. Ex. Charlie Key.
