Highly lustrous, prismatic, midnight-blue azurite crystals are very aesthetically scattered on the sculptural matrix on this excellent specimen from the Tsumeb Mine. The striking, large crystal on the front is 4.9 cm long and is terminated, even though part of the termination is covered with matrix. An equally long crystal, though damaged, azurite is partially visible on the back of the piece. A few scattered willemite crystals are a nice accent. A classic Tsumeb azurite specimen with large crystals. Ex. Wesley Stark Collection.
