A very interesting, near "floater," tabular, pale lilac colored crystal of Apatite from an Alpine "cleft" deposit in Pakistan. The crystal has relatively sharp faces with good luster and is complete on all sides. Some inclusions of dark green color Actinolite (var "Byssolite"), make for a nice accent. The crystal is certainly gemmy, and purple/lilac is arguably the most sought after color for the species. A great "Alpine-type" Apatite crystal from what is one of the greatest areas in the world for the material. Ex. Brian Kosnar Collection.
