An old-timer from the Austrian Alps, out of the Wein Collection! It features a cluster of lustrous, terminated epidotes to just over one centimeter, surrounded by fibrous byssolite. Two of the epidotes are of the typical prismatic form, but above them (interestingly enough) are a couple of flattened tabular crystals! Acquired by Wein in 1986, according to the collection card.
