Elongated, medium purple cubes on white quartz from the world famous Weardale area, highlight this specimen. Crystals over 6 cm long, penetration twinning, along with a matte luster make this old piece extremely collectible. The piece fluoresces like a banshee as you'd expect from a fluorite form the namesake locality for the very word fluorescence. There is some damage - a few claeved corners and breaks around the periphery. 12.7 x 12.3 x 10.2 cm
