Tetrahedrite seldom forms sharp crystals in most deposits in which it occurs in copper ores, and this is from a particularly rare and famous Montana location, certainly from the 1960s-early 1980s mining here. It features exceptional sharp tarnished crystals with a beautiful patina and form. For an example of the species from a USA locality, this is hard to beat.
