Lavendulan is a relatively rare arsenate and the intense blue color is very distinctive. The Pastrana area in Spain has produced some very attractive specimens of this species. This particular specimen features beautiful intense blue, platy "sprays" of Lavendulan which is associated with the rare copper arsenate, Cornwallite. A good representative specimen for this hard-to-find and colorful association from Spain. Ex. Brian Kosnar Collection.
