This miniature features a sharp 1.75 x 1.75 x 1 cm crystal of cobaltite from the old Subury silver district, perched on a well trimmed matrix. This is the rarest locality for a fine cobaltite crystal, and the cubic shape is very different from the old classics from Sweden. The crystal is huge, and the miniature is competition quality and important for the locality to any collector of a Cobalt suite or Canadian suite. ex Irv Brown collection via Don Olson.
