Elmwood Mine material continues to drain from the market, with the mine having been closed for some time now. There is just not much to be had out there anymore. This is a large plate of sphalerite crystals (the zinc ore that was the reason for the mine in the first place) with about 20 nice purple fluorite crystals on it; most measuring about 1.5 cm. There are a few very small corner dings, but for a specimen of this size it is in good shape. The crystals show fine transparency. A classic Elmwood combo! 14.5 x 11 x 5 cm
