A beautiful, red-tip tourmaline from the much less well-known Poa Alta Mine of the Coronel Murta area of Minas Gerais. The contrast of the cranberry-red, modified, pyramidal termination over the green body is striking. Complete-all-around and pristine, this gemmy and lustrous crystal weighs 8 grams.
