This fine, small cluster of glassy and gemmy, light green, augelite crystals, to 1.8 cm in length, is perched on a bit of matrix. Arguably the best augelites in the world, small pockets of these from this long-known mine for hubnerite and quartz, and pyrite, have continued to amaze collectors. The big finds seem to be over, with the best veins found 2012-2013 and now only a trickle of lesser specimens seems to be coming out. This is a classy thumbnail, with gemmy crystals of fantastic color and sharp form - probably one of the better examples in this size.
