A HISTORIC and noteworthy native tin thumbnail from an UNCOMMON locality - the Badiko District of Nigeria! Native tin is RARE worldwide and this is an excellent quality piece. This silver-gray, subhedral was collected in 1893 and for many years resided in the Sorbonne Collection in Paris (according to previous owner). John Saul, a collector of native elements who runs ruby mines in Kenya, executed a major trade with the Sorbonne and recently I ended up with this very RARE element specimen from this locality.
