A brilliantly lustrous specimen that has to have the most intense glassy sparkle I have ever seen in this specimens, with numerous sharp crystals to 4 mm, in a protected vug in quartz matrix. This is an excellent example for the locality in particular, and if not for the label I would have assumed it to instead be from the Caldbeck Fells area, though linarite is also know for the Leadhills (jus tmore uncommonly).
