4.8 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm (test tube). An old, cork-stoppered test tube with grains of platinum and platinum grains with the rare elements; iridium, palladium, rhenium and osmium. The handwritten label with the test tube says "California" and so we assume it is the Trinity County placer locations but cannot be sure. A vial of platinum grains with rare natural metals. Ex.
