Another classic silver from the upper peninsula area of Michigan! This one is an extremely rare specimen of four very distinct, isolated silver crystals on matrix. Matrix specimens of silver are the hardest to find from the mines in Michigan. In fact, this is one of the few I have ever seen which have actual matrix and not a matrix of massive silver or copper. This specimen is very old, with most having come out of the mines in the mid to late 1800's. The crystals are well formed and have a nice colorful patina. Really a very uncommon silver. 6.2 x 4.6 x 3.2 cm
