A Tsumeb classic! Large (up to 1.8 cm) partially altered blades of Malachite after Azurite, intermixed with sharp Azurite crystals. What makes this so unusual and attractive is that most of the blades are only partially altered, so the deep green Malachite is an even deeper shade due to the green intermixed with the blue. The small Azurite crystals are sharp, deep blue, and have a superb luster. This is an excellent specimen for the pseudomorph and the primary crystals. And I cannot explain why in the end it was priced so reasonably?! Marty obtained it in trade form an old collection housed at the Royal Ontario Musuem.
