A glassy and gemmy single scalenohedron of cherry-red rhodochrosite, measuring 2.2 cm in length. Unlike nearly all other Mexican rhodochrosites, this rhodo is absolutely limpid. Old finds from the 1970s or earlier, I am told. For quality, this is as good as it gets from Mexico! The piece could fool you on quick look as a N'chwaning mine specimen!
