A curved vug in the 3-dimensional, sturdy gossan matrix is lined with highly lustrous and gemmy, purple and green scorodite crystals to 4 mm on this excellent thumbnail. Three smaller vugs also host scorodite crystals. These scorodite specimens came from a one-time find in 1981, during the same time and in the same area as the famous purple adamites were found. Ex.
