This attractive cluster is a FLOATER or near-floater that consists of a single, large 3.7 cm crystal with several smaller crystals on either side. These are the beginning of the celebrated "sixling" Chrysoberyl twins. This miniature has an attractive yellow-green color, good to excellent luster, and it is partially gemmy. Some of the most classic Chrysoberyl specimens in the world are those from Espirito Santo in the southeastern end of Brazil. This is old material (prior to 1950s), that cannot be replaced today at this price.
