A fine, stacked cluster of mirror-bright, brass-yellow pyrite crystals from the mines at Concepcion del Oro, Mexico and the Dave Stoudt Collection. First, this is a complete-all-around specimen that is very nearly pristine. The lustrous cubes have sharp, but strange-looking cuboctahedral corner modification faces. The modified faces have stepped-growth features that add a very strange and unusual look.
