A classic, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, euhedral, prismatic crystal of Apatite with the well known slightly greenish yellow color from Cerro de Mercado. These crystals are not nearly as common on the market as they were about 20 years ago, and are certainly some of the most distinctive crystals of Apatite from any locality in the world. The crystal has great form. Overall, a good quality specimen of this renowned Mexican material. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
