The Kalahari Manganese fields have produced great Ettringites over the years. This lovely thumbnail, with a rich lemon-yellow color and excellent hexagonal habit, fits right in. The luster is powdery-matte, not dull though. Partially contacted, on one face in back, otherwise complete. Ex. Charlie Key.
