These stunning Altai Mountain fluorites are just NOT AVAILABLE anymore. These three specimens turned up as a total fluke from a contact who had them stashed away. They were found some years back in this mountainous area near Mongolia which hasn't yet produced much compared to other parts of China. Not only are these difficult to obtain, but these are three LARGE, IMPORTANT specimens from the find! This dramatic plate features fewer modifications on the cube than the other two, and this more conventionally cubic form makes this specimen have the brightest color of the three. There is a bit of accenting quartz druse in a couple of spots. 16 x 15 x 4.5 cm
