Grossulars from the Jeffrey are becoming very, very hard to get with the closing of the mine. There has been a real scramble for them. This is a most unusual plate of crystals, due to its color, which is more pink and less sherry-colored than usual. This makes it particularly attractive and unique, I think. The crystals are LARGE, some of them measuring over one centimeter across. Some matrix shows to frame the grossulars. A fine piece from a sought-after locality. 5.2 x 4.6 x 1.5 cm
