This outstanding thumbnail is highlighted by an upright, lustrous, striated, 2.4 cm crystal that is complemented by several smaller, sharp crystals and some Pyrite or Chalcopyrite. The termination of the main Enargite is tiered, smooth, sharp, and superb. Enargite is a Holy Grail mineral species for Butte and the Enargites from here are considered the best in the world. Excellent aesthetics, with just about perfect balance, makes this a super thumbnail example of this classic material from the 1950s or 1960s.
