Any Colorado collector can tell you about the famous and unusual pegmatite locality of St. Peters Dome where some very unique and easily recognizable Zircon specimens have been found for years. The locality at St. Peters Dome is actually a Dana locality, and truly is one of the great old Colorado collecting sites. This specimen is a very attractive cluster of Zircons featuring a very sharp, distinct, pinkish-brown crystal measuring 1.9 cm aesthetically flaring off matrix.
