This is exceptional for the species, from a find Rod Tyson made only a few years ago on a helicopter trip in. A sliver of siderite forms the matrix for a gorgeous spherical aggregate of lustrous, straw-yellow messelite, to 1.4 cm across. Superb thumbnail!
