Very nice single fan-shaped blade of Siderite. The crystal has good luster and habit, but what is so unusual is the actual gemminess of the Siderite. Not often will you find a Siderite with any gemminess at all, but this does have windows in the center, nicely complementing the overall translucence. Naturally, there is a little bit of edge wear along the Siderite, but it really doesn't detract from the overall appearance. And adding to that is an intergrown Quartz crystal that actually appears to be a reverse scepter. Unusual and aesthetic. Ex. Steve Smale Collection.
