This HUGE plate of chrysocolla has the most unique color to it: a beautiful emerald green and it is transparent into the surface, with high luster reflecting off the botryoidal forms. The contrasting black mineral is heterogenite - the matrix is solid heterogenite, in fact, with the chrysocolla having formed a layer on it.
