A matrix of white feldspar completely covered with brilliant, sparkling spessartines, to 0.7 cm. There are some large ones set amongst the smaller ones, and this variation in crystal size is quite unusual for these Tongbei specimens. They are usually quite uniform. The result is that the larger ones really stand out in the field of smaller ones. Superb luster!
