This is not only a really pretty Chinese combo piece with fine overall form, but quite interesting as well. It combines purple fluorite with black sphalerites and gemmy quartz crystals, many of them containing needle-like crystals that could be cosalite -- or? Whatever it is, I have not seen this before. Other crystals contain more chunky, metallic-looking inclusions of a second mineral. The Chinese dealer who sold this piece is not available to add any information, so it remains rather mysterious. 12 x 8 x 3.5 cm
