A very large, complete Japan-Law Twin of quartz from Brazil, out of the collection of Ed David. There are smaller, typical prismatic quartz crystals growing here and there on the lower part of the specimen. These tabular "wings" have sharp edges and terminations, and are undamaged save for one contact along the top side of the larger "wing." Japan-Law Twins of this magnitude are not common at all!
