This is a killer Brookite on Quartz miniature from Pakistan. This particular specimen features a superb, razor-sharp, lustrous Brookite crystal sitting atop gemmy, doubly terminated Quartz crystal. The Brookite measures 2.7 cm long and 1.5 cm wide and really is razor thin too and has alternating silvery gray and dark golden yellow linear streaks parallel to its length. It is mostly opaque, but has an orange transparency around the edges and sits right up almost perpendicular to the Quartz crystal. The Quartz crystal has perfect terminations on both ends and is mostly gem except for the bright, silvery bundles of Rutile needles inside which is a wonderful surprise! These Brookite specimens represent some of the finest quality "Alpine-type" Brookites in the world. This is an old piece from the finds here before 2010.
