This is a very attractive association specimen from one of the most famous classic Peruvian localities. There are several sharp, lustrous, prismatic, parallel growth crystals of Hubnerite beautifully associated with slender, colorless gemmy Quartz crystals and a minor dusting of Pyrite. The finest aspect to this specimen is the fact that when it is backlit, it shows the classic blood-red hue that made these specimens so popular 30 years ago. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
