A showy and excellent specimen of very GEMMY and lustrous, red-orange, grossular garnet crystals to 1.6 cm with lustrous, colorless, curved calcite crystals on matrix from the famous Eden Mills area of Vermont. THESE CRYSTALS ARE LARGE FOR THE LOCALE! The prominent garnet crystals are pristine and the scattered damage (still some color) is certainly not detracting. CORRECTION from the collector I got this from: Rob youve made a mistake, thats a KILLER specimen of rare crystallized PREHNITE with garnet 9.2 x 9.0 x 4.1 cm
