Bindheimite is a moderately uncommon stibiconite group secondary mineral occurring in the oxidized zones of antimony-bearing lead deposits. This large and fine specimen, with earthy bindheimite in yellow, brown, and reddish-brown swirl partterns, is essentially solid bindheimite. This is classic, old-time material from the St. Endellion area of Cornwall. An old paper label is glued to the back of the piece and also comes with a Warner & Grieger label, well-known California dealers and collectors, prior to World War II. Ex. John Grieger Collection.
