You are probably aware of how incredibly difficult it is to get N'Chwaning rhodo specimens these days, even at absurd prices. So it comes as a big surprise, I am sure, to see one in the auction! But here it is: sharp, gemmy scalenohedral crystals in a dense curving, attractive cluster. The specimen was well-lit for the pics but not overly so, I think; in person it is the familiar, classic wine-red color (but of course, the stronger the light it is displayed under, the more the crystals glow as in the closeup shot!). 5.1 x 3.1 x 2.3cm
