The Okorusu has turned out a profusion of specimens over the years, but here is a specimen from the older finds there, and you can tell by the combination of intense purple, green and teal colors that made these instantly recognizable. The camera had trouble picking up the green, but it is quite obvious in person under good light. The crystals have fine luster; they measure to 1.7 cm on edge.
