This is a stunning deep blue tourmaline crystal with interesting color gradients, from one of the most famous mines of the heyday of Brazilian gem crystal mining, probably from the 1970s or perhaps the 1960s. It is complete all around and nearly pristine, with just a very small bit of edge wear. It weighs 29 grams. Ex. George Elling Collection.
