Seybertite is an old-time synonym for clintonite, a rare Mica Group mineral species. This fine, old-time specimen is from the New York Type Locality of Amity and features large, crudely hexagonal, pearlescent, brown plates of clintonite. Accompanied by two older labels, including an antique cloth label glued to the specimen. Ex. Mullane Collection. Classic material from a historic locale.
