Linarite is a classic, highly important mineral species from the famous Roughton Gill Mine of England. This is a rich representative linarite specimen, with royal-blue microcrystals distributed on nearly all sides of the quartz, malachite and sulfide matrix. Old-time material, 1800s. Hefty for its size at 243 grams (sulfide-rich). From an older museum collection dating to prior to WW I.
