This is a BIG plate of feldspar covered with gemmy spessartine garnets! They are super-lustrous and sparkle like jewels. The feldspar actually crystallized into nice blocky crystals, so instead of being on a flat plate, the spessartines are on these blocky forms, which gives the specimen unusual dimensionality compared to the usual Tongbei spessartine specimen.
