A rare and fine, large cabinet combination specimen from the Baia Sprie Mine of Romania. Striking, echelon clusters of large, color-zoned Baryte crystals are aesthetically set in a sculptural, 3-dimensional matrix of highly lustrous, metallic-gray boulangerite needles. The tabular baryte blades reach 4.9 cm and have distinctive, off-white crystal edges. We believe the interiors of the baryte blades are included with boulangerite, meaning that the baryte crystal edges are pure baryte and lack boulangerite. Ex. Consie Prince Collection.
