A highly unusual combination piece! This specimen highlights an elongated, large and attractive 3.8 cm Spessartine Garnet crystal from Pakistan. This lustrous, translucent, deep burgundy crystal has dodecahedral form with beveled edges, and it is etched along the contact with the matrix below. Associated are several inch-long, non-terminated Schorl crystals that have superb, striated luster. The aesthetics of this combination are excellent.
