A STRIKING, super gemmy and lustrous, doubly terminated, emerald-green tourmaline crystal partially wrapped in lepidolite. This is CLASSIC, OLD-TIME Cruzeiro Mine material from the 60s or 70s. An angled band of cleavelandite caps one part of the crystal. The main termination is moderately etched, while the other is severely etched. No damage to this super gem crystal. The color and luster are off the charts. Ex. Gene Meieran Collection.
