This is the largest crystal in good condition I was able to find, and it is amazingly impactful for the sheer size of royal purple crystal looking back at you from a case. The color is like grape jelly, as good as the best amethyst from Uruguay. The crystal is remarkably complete all around 360 except for the most trivial micro-wear and a single very shallow ding that is hard to notice on the left edge only, and is fully terminated with a steep termination showing luster and even more intense color. It is, I think, an important piece that is really going to stand out in a case.
