Scintilliating, tiny, gemmy, electric-blue azurite crystals richly and aesthetically cover the sculptural, vuggy matrix on this excellent, old-time specimen from the Marty Lewadny and Tarnowski Collections. These Concepcion del Oro, Zacatecas azurites are perhaps the gemmiest azurites in the world, rivaling the best from Tsumeb or Morocco. Specimens of this quality mostly came out the 1950s, so this is old-time, showy material.
