This old-time cluster of intergrown, lustrous, dark olive, barrel shaped crystals of pyromorphite, to 2.5 cm across, is definitely from a bygone era. Most of these were mined by the mid 1800s and few of any quality are on the market today. The color is right at the top range for German pyros. The robust crystals ize and overall aesthetics contribute to making this one of the best toenail/small miniatures I have seen for the material.
